Middle East Airlines is Lebanon's flag-carrier airline which boasts a fleet size of 20 which cover 33 destinations from its base at Rafic Hariri International Airport. The airline entered an alliance by becoming the 17th member of SkyTeam alliance.

Alliance
SkyTeam founded in June 2000 has 19 members who collectively carry over 630 million passengers each year reaching over 1150 destinations. SkyTeam alliance and its members have 750 lounges worldwide. Passengers can access privileges based on the status of the member airline's frequent flyer program. SkyTeam has two frequent flyer program tiers which are Elite and Elite Plus are linked with the status of the airline membership programs.

Arab Air Carriers Organisation is a non-political non-profit organisation in Beirut, Lebanon. The organization was set up upon the recommendation of the Transport Committee of the League of Arab States. With its main goal to promote cooperation, quality and safety standards they offer industry course in various aviation management programs and training in Human Resources which help airlines achieve in their training budgets among the Arab airlines. International Civil Aviation Organization signed an agreement with AACO that the airlines will have 0% growth of their emissions by 2020.

Class of Travel
Middle East Airline provides two classes of travel;
Business Class - This cabin class is also known as Cedar Class which allows guests to catch up on work on the go as well as relax.
Economy Class - All economy class cabin allows passengers to relax with the extra leg space along with the in-flight entertainment.

Baggage Allowance
Economy class passengers are allowed 23kgs for checked-in luggage and hand luggage of 10kgs. Baggage allowance differs according to the fare type and cabin class which is chosen.

Frequent Flyer Programme
Cedar Miles is Middle East Airline's frequent flyer program which allows guests to avail miles while booking flight tickets, pre-booking miles etc. Cedar Miles can be earned on all MEA aeroplanes as well as all planes operated by Air France, KLM and Qatar Airways. Guests can also earn additional miles during their stay at any Rotana Hotels and worldwide Hertz car rentals.

In-flight Services
Guests can pre-book their meal with any special dietary recommendation. Passengers can also surprise their loved ones by pre-booking occasion cakes for birthdays, weddings and special occasions. MEA provides guests to choose from a range of Lebanese European dishes. The aircraft has built-in facilities such as steam oven, bread warmers, air chillers and espresso machines. Passengers can travel stress-free without having physical currency for onboard purchases as MEA accepts American Express, Visa and Master Card. The in-flight entertainment system is loaded with the latest Hollywood and Disney movies which cater to both young and old passengers.

Check-in
Domestic Flights - Passengers can check-in online 24 hrs to 3 hrs prior to the scheduled departure time.
International Flights - Passengers can check-in online 24 hrs to 3 hrs prior to the scheduled departure time.

Onboard Support
Middle East Airline provides assistance for passengers with special needs. Wheelchairs, airport assistance during check in are provided by on ground staff. Passengers can choose a service that best suits their need. Expectant mothers and parents of unaccompanied children can read the regulations and policies before flying on Middle East Airline's website.

Refund & Cancellation
Passengers can cancel their booking either through Middle East Airline sales’ offices or website. All cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee.
